Nina Jean Stevens, nee Hale, passed away on March 13, 2025.

She was born August 14, 1953 to parents Stephen D. Hale and Alma B. Hale, nee Murphy.

She married the love of her life, Bob Stevens, on September 7, 1973.

Nina was a retired teacher's aide from Granite City School District 9.

Preceding her in death are her parents, brothers Mark D. Hale and Mark S. Hale, mother-in-law Elizabeth Stevens, as well as a brother-in-law, Doug Stevens.

Surviving are her husband, Bob, sons Spencer Stevens and Stacey Stevens, her beloved pug Maxwell, brother Steve (Polly) Hale, brother-in-law John (Melinda) Smith, sister-in-law Anna Stevens, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A memorial will be planned for a later date.

The family is being served by Sunset Hill Funeral Home, 50 Fountain Drive, Glen Carbon, IL 62034.
