Norma L. Hanratty, 87 of  Troy IL, passed away on Sunday September 2, 2018.She was born on July 5, 1931 in East St Louis, IL. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Jack R. Hanratty, her parents, Norman L. Farr and Temple Marie Wittenbrink, a daughter, Nancy Brandmeyer, grandson Roger Pense and son in law, Rick Johnson.

Norma loved reading especially mystery novels, gardening. and spending time with family. She also loved painting, and crafts having decorated her home with her beautiful paintings.

She is survived by her loving children, Linda (John) Pense, Collinsville IL, Sandra (Paul) Homann St Jacob, IL, Jeffrey (Susan) Hanratty Collinsville IL, Becky (Alex)  Pranaitis, Highland IL and John Hanratty Pocahontas IL. 11, Grandchildren and 13, Great Grandchildren.

VISITATION:  will be held on Friday September 7, 2018, 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Herr Funeral Home Collinsville IL.

FUNERAL: will be on Saturday September 8, 2018, 9:00 AM from Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville IL. Burial following in Caseyville Cemetery.
