COLLINSVILLE - Norma Mary Foley, nee Sperino, 97, of Collinsville, IL, passed away Monday, December 19, 2016, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL surrounded by family. Norma was born September 30, 1919 in Collinsville, IL. She was a retired CNA. Norma was a wonderful "mamma" whom we loved and respected. She will be forever missed by her family. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Foley, parents, Ronaldo and Margherita, nee Malano, and one sister, Katie (Arthur) Leisen. Surviving are her four children, Ronald (Diane Rizzo) Foley of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; Elizabeth (Kenneth) Bunetic of Collinsville, IL; Jeri (John Honness) Foley of Collinsville, IL and Michael Foley of Collinsville, IL; niece, Norma (Virgil) Renth of Swansea, IL; four grandchildren, Julie (Jake) Preston of Edwardsville, IL; Andrew (Jenna) Foley of Kirkwood, MO; Diane Foley of Maryland Heights, MO; Jessica (Michael Treece, Jr.) Honness of Collinsville, IL; two grand nieces, Deborah Renth and Shelly Gerstner; and great-grandchildren, Tyler Murphy, Briley Bruninga, and Teagan Foley, along with many other family members and friends.

Memorial donations may be made in Norma''s memory may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation or Alzheimer''s Association. Condolences may be expressed to the family through this online guestbook.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 4 to 8pm on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, IL and 9:30 -10:30am on Thursday at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville.

Funeral: In celebration of her life, a funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 10:30am SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville, IL. (Father John Beveridge and Msg. James Blazine) Burial to follow at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in Collinsville.
