Olivett L. Taylor, 75, of Collinsville, IL passed away on October 28, 2023. He was born to Lee and Ida (Portwood) Taylor on August 29, 1948, in East Brewton, AL. After high school, he joined the military and proudly served in the US Army.

Those left to cherish Olivett's memory are his loving wife, Maggie (nee Haines) Taylor; children Terry Taylor and Tammy Taylor-Benson, 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren along with other family and friends. The family would like to express gratitude and recognize his grandson Dylan, who was a special caregiver for his grandfather. Olivett will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
