Patricia "Pat" Ann Davidson, 81, of Collinsville, IL was called home to be with the Lord on May 3, 2024. She passed away peacefully with family by her side. She was born to Thomas and Lena Gallo on July 28, 1942 in Somerville, New Jersey.

Pat was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Collinsville, IL where she attended and volunteered for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and attending all of their activities.

Pat had a love for bears and grew quite the collection over the years. She loved hot tea and cheerios. She enjoyed making homemade ravioli and meatballs for large family gatherings. She loved playing bingo and doing arts and crafts.

Pat enjoyed working in retail, where she retired from Wal-Mart after 34 years of service. She spent her retirement loving her great-grandchildren and traveling to visit family. She was also very active with the Parents without Partners organization, where she developed many lifelong friends.

Pat spent the past several years as a resident of Liberty Village in Maryville, IL. The family would like to thank the entire staff for their compassionate care during her years as a resident. She thoroughly enjoyed her time there and loved each and every one of you.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lena (Soriano) Gallo, her brother Thomas Gallo, and David Davidson with whom she shared 21 years of loving marriage.

She is survived by her children, Pauline (Rich) Welmon of Collinsville, IL, David (Ramona) Davidson of Barboursville, VA, and Kathy (Dan) Seim of Collinsville, IL; siblings Jim (Judy) Gallo of Chandler, AZ, Mary (Ricardo) Llanes of Glendale, AZ, and Pete (Trudy) Gallo of Granby, CO; grandchildren, Tiffany (Jonathan) Altgilbers of Vandalia, IL, Jeremy Seim of Collinsville, IL, Ashley (Adam) Wessel of Maryville, IL, Luke (April) Welmon of Collinsville, IL, Heather (Josh) Owens of Collinsville, IL, Kelsey (Gage) Seim of Collinsville, IL, and Phillip Davidson of Barboursville, VA; great grandchildren, Cameron, Carter, Chloe, and Collin Altgilbers, Logan and Abigail Welmon, Drue, Lawson, and Callahan Wessel, Declan and Lillian Owens, and Olivia Tucker. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

The visitation will be held on May 5, 2024, from 4pm-8pm at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, IL. The funeral service will be held on May 6, 2024 at 10 am at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Collinsville, IL. A luncheon will follow at Holy Cross. All are welcome to join us in sharing memories of Pat.
