Patricia A Flemming, 85 of Collinsville IL, passed away Friday March 1, 2024. She was
born January 24, 1939 to Norman and Rose Brider. She married the love of her life, Richard W
Flemming on June 8, 1957. After marrying Richard, the family moved to San Diego, California
while he was stationed in the US Navy. After fulfilling his service, the family moved back to Collinsville, where they have called home for over 63 years.

Patricia was a talented painter and enjoyed making decorations for family and friend.
She loved cooking, tending to her vegetable and flower gardens, being outdoors, hunting and
fishing with family. Some of her happiest times was spending time at their family club house,
siting on the porch enjoying the views that nature had to offer.
She was an avid animal lover and had numerous pets over the years from cats, dogs,
birds, and even fish. She was a friendly, outgoing, and caring person who loved her family and
friends. She was a treasured wife, mother, sister, proud grandmother, great grandmother, and
great-great grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Norman, and Rose Brider.

She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Richard W Flemming and her beloved pet Willa. Children
Linda (Barry Sr.) Swalley, Don (Kristy) Flemming, grandchildren Barry Swalley Jr., Becky (Eric)
McDade, great grandchildren Tyler Boggs, Mary Elizabeth (Justin) Collins, Chloe (Gus) Glass,
Carter Swalley, Colby Swalley, great-great grandchildren Sophia Choate, Scarlet Collins, her
sister Karen Brider, her brother Jack (Diane) Brider.
