Patricia Nordyke, 69, formerly of E. St. Louis, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, June 15th in her home in Deltona, Florida.

Pat retired after a 30 year career with Boeing (formally McDonald Douglas) in St. Louis, MO.

In her younger days Pat played softball competitively with two of her sisters, Chris and Sheila for the Collinsville Comanche''s. She enjoyed playing softball well into her 50''s. She also loved bowling with her late husband Richard. After Richard''s death in 1999, she moved to Florida to be closer to her son''s family. Pat had a lifelong love for animals and most recently enjoyed providing foster care for a dog and two cats.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents: Francis J. and Veronica R., nee Woodcock, O''Brien, her husband, Richard C. Nordyke, and brothers; Frank and John O''Brien. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Ken and Debbie McCoy of Port Orange, FL, two granddaughters; Christine Beaudoin and Kimberly McCoy, sisters; Chris Schilling, Sheila Logan, and Kathy Heroux and brother, Mike O''Brien.

Graveside service for Pat will be Saturday, July 2nd at 10:30 AM at Valley View Cemetery, 1564 Lewis Road, Edwardsville, Illinois.
