Paul Blandon, 60, of Collinsville, Ill., born Tuesday, June 8, 1954, in Collinsville, Ill., died Sunday, March 8, 2015, at his residence.

Paul was a Deacon at the Greater New Bethel Temple, East St. Louis, Ill., and was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, and was stationed in Guam. He was a member of Meadow Heights Baptist Church. He loved to fish and enjoyed music and to play his saxophone.

Surviving are his wife, Diana, nee Jacobi, Blandon of Collinsville, Ill., whom he married December 5, 2008; two daughters, Paula Blandon of Collinsville, Ill., and Ashley Blandon of St. Louis, Mo.; a son, Marcus Blandon of O'Fallon, Ill.; his mother, Sylvia Mitchell of Collinsville, Ill.; his former wife, Sydonie Blandon of St. Louis, Mo.; and many family and friends. He was dearly loved by his brothers and sisters.

Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at Noon Friday, March 13, 2015, at the funeral home, with Pastor Mike Lawrence and Elder LeRoy Moore officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
