Pete L. "Skip" Perucca, 60, of Collinsville, Ill., born Sept. 8, 1952, in East St. Louis, Ill., died at 1:55 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2013, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.

Mr. Perucca was a supervisor at Fairmount Race Track. He belonged to the Collinsville Rec Club and Laborers Local No. 40. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, taking care of his pets, and back in the day, a nice cold Budweiser.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Pete "Pops" and Sam, nee Wells, Perucca; a daughter, Wendy Tarr; and a sister, Donna Herr.

Surviving are his son, P.J. (Carrie) Perucca of Fenton, Mo.; granddaughter, Francesca Perucca; a sister, Judy "Twig" (Bob) Omelson of Warrenville, Ill.; brother-in-law, Jeff Herr of Swansea, Ill.; special friend, Linda Chance; nieces and nephews, Lauren Omelson, Anna Omelson, Clayton Omelson, Rachel Herr and Vincent Herr III; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and very close friends.
