Peter Frank Demediuk, 93, of Collinsville, Ill., born Monday, Feb. 27, 1922, in Philadelphia, Pa., died Friday, May 1, 2015, at Meridian Village, Glen Carbon, Ill.
Mr. Demediuk was retired from the Air Force, and a World War II D-Day Veteran. He was a member of the Collinsville V.F.W.; the Collinsville American Legion; the Enlisted Club at Scott A.F. Base; and a lifetime member of the Sportsmen's Club of O'Fallon, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Galli, nee Zwirova, Demediuk; a daughter, Kathryn Eads; his parents, Fedor "Frank" and Anna, nee Slobodian, Demediuk; and a brother, Stephen Demediuk.
Surviving are a son, Paul P. Demediuk of Brentwood, Tenn.; two grandsons, Brendan Demediuk of Brentwood, Tenn., and Chad Motiejaitis of Collinsville, Ill.; and two sisters, Mary Makros of Pottstown, Pa., and Pauline Standhardt of Pottstown, Penn.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2015, at the funeral home, with Rev. Roger Wright officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, Glen Carbon, Ill.
