Phyllis Courtaway-Sahr, 86, of Collinsville, IL., born February 12, 1932, in East St. Louis, IL., passed away November 8, 2018, at her home with loving family at her side.

Phyllis was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother who was a dedicated home maker. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

She was preceded in death by her late husbands, Calvert "Sonny" Courtaway and Edward Sahr; her parents, Phillip and Gladys, nee Beers, Pyle and one son, Dennis Courtaway.

Surviving are her daughter Diane (Courtaway) Litton of Collinsville, IL.; her sisters, Pat Fulton of Collinsville, IL., Arline Powell of Collinsville, IL.; her brother Phillip Pyle of Florida; her granddaughter Lisa (Litton) McGuire; her dear three great-granddaughters, Courtney, Britney and Ashley; six great-great-grandchildren and her very special friend Missy, her dog.

Funeral:  Funeral services for Phyllis will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at Herr Funeral Home, with Rev. Ron Habermehl officiating.  Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, Il.
