Coert Shepard, 86, Edwardsville, IL., born October 13, 1931, in St. Louis, MO., passed away June 17, 2018, in Edwardsville, IL.

Coert was a very accomplished man; he graduated from Washington University, St. Louis, MO., he was a veteran of the US Army serving his country from 1954 to 1956, and later obtained his CPA degree from University of Illinois in Champaign.  He worked for Southwestern Health facilities Inc. for over 30 years and retired as President and CEO at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.  He was a member of Masonic Lodge #576, O'Fallon, IL. and Eastern Star #487 of O'Fallon, IL.  Coert was an avid sports fan who enjoyed golf and the St. Louis cardinals.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pardon S. and Isabel, nee Gregory, Shepard.

Surviving are his loving wife Donna, nee Sealy, Shepard of Edwardsville, IL., whom he married September 9, 2000; his children, Diane E. (Ken) Rolland of St. Charles, MO., Linda K. (Mike) Burns of Shiloh, IL., Nicole (Jonathon) Starbuck of Edwardsville, IL; his grandchildren, Crystal (John Klaus) Reiff, Taylor Burns, Norah Starbuck; he is also survived by his two great-grandchildren, Harrison Klaus, Evelyn Klaus.
