Ralph Haury, 83, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023 in Maryville, Illinois.  He was born on November 28, 1939 to parents, William and Erna (nee Hess) Haury.

Ralph was a long time resident of Collinsville, Illinois, and a well known photographer.  An avid photographer since high school, he gained notoriety around his community, and opened Haury Color Studios in the early 1960's.  He took countless pictures for high school seniors, weddings, church confirmations, families, and many other occasions.  Ralph was an active member of The American Professional Photographers, and he played both piano and organ for church.  He was also an organ player at Fox Theatre, through the St. Louis Theatre Organ Society (SLTOS), of which he was also a member.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, William and Erma Haury; and his wife, Marian Haury.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, William (Bill) Haury; sister-in-law, Joan Schrumpf and her husband, Merle; daughter-in-law, Christy; and grandson, Brent.

Services for Ralph will be held at Herr Funeral Home, 501 W. Main Street in Collinsville, Illinois. Visitations will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023 from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm, and on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 9:00 am-10:00 am.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at St. John's Cemetery in Collinsville, Illinois.
