Raymond A. Huber, 89, of Collinsville, Ill., born Nov. 8, 1925, in Trenton, Ill., died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, at Rosewood Care Center, Edwardsville, Ill.
Raymond retired from PIE Trucking after 20 years of service. He was a member of the Collinsville American Legion, a long time member of First United Presbyterian Church in Collinsville, Ill., and was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry James and Caroline, nee Jakel, Huber; two brothers, William Huber and Harry Jakel; and a sister, Shirley Huber.
Surviving are his wife, Mary, nee Rossio, Huber; two daughters, Diane (Daniel) Schubert of Maryville, Ill., and Caroline (Tim) Hipskind of Collinsville, Ill.; a sister, Pearl Essenpreis of Sun Valley, Calif.; eight grandchildren, Ben Griffith, Daniel Griffith, Daniel (Jeannie) Schubert, Tyler (Becky) Schubert, Brett Schubert, Phillip Hipskind, Ava Hipskind and Sophia Hipskind; a great-grandson, Lucus Allan Schubert; and a sister-in-law, Ann Huber of Highland, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, at the church with Rev. Jeff Young officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Collinsville.
