Rebecca J. Focht, 72, from Granite City, IL., born October 10, 1948, in Taylorville, IL., passed away Monday, January 25, 2021, in Granite City, IL.

Rebecca was a dedicated wife; mother and grandmother who loved to spend time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Edward Mathon and Dorothy (Maquet) Mathon; her loving husband Joey R. Focht Sr; her son Michael Focht; her brothers Michael Mathon and Gary Mathon and sister Patricia O'Brien.

Surviving are her children, Joey Focht Jr., of Granite City, IL, Kim (Dennis) Robinson of Granite City, IL, Timothy (Sharon) Focht of Granite City, IL, and sister Judy (Jim) Hayes of Granite City, IL, and eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, Glen Carbon, IL, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, and funeral service will follow the visitation with Pastor Roger Wright. Burial will take place at Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens, Glen Carbon, IL., immediately following funeral services.
