Rhonda Lee Levan, nee Fahey, 59, of Fairview Heights, Ill., born Jan. 27, 1954, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.
Rhonda graduated from Belleville Area College with an associate of applied science in radiologic technology (ARRT) in 1975. She worked as a radiographer at Centerville Township Hospital from 1975 to 1977. She graduated from Washington University, Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in 1978 with a certificate in radiation therapy technologist and became a registered radiation therapist (ARRT). She worked as a radiation therapist and a supervisor at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in Radiation Oncology from 1978 to 1993. During that time she received a bachelor's of health arts degree in 1985 from the University of St Francis. She also worked at Cancer Treatment Center as a radiation therapist and supervisor from 1983 to 2012.
Surviving are her son, Cole Levan of Fairview Heights, Ill.; parents, James and Doris, nee Krause, Fahey of Highland, Ill.; and brother, Steve Fahey of New York, N.Y.
