Obituary
Richard L. Wilkinson, age 92, of Edwardsville, Illinois entered into rest peacefully on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at his residence.
He was born March 5, 1932 in Edwardsville, Illinois to Robert and Lillian Wilkinson.
Richard is survived by his wife of 73 years, Rose, children; Linda McMahan of Edwardsville, Illinois and Clifford Wilkinson of Edwardsville, Illinois, 3 grandchildren; Julie, Daniel and Jacob and 4 great-grandchildren; Joshua, Lilly, Claire and Jackson.
He was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the Navy.
Richard retired in 1994 after working 39 years for the Granite City Steel Mill.
Private Services will be held.
The family is being served by Sunset Hill Funeral Home, 50 Fountain Drive, Glen Carbon, Illinois 62034.
