Robert Bovinett, 82, of Collinsville, Illinois, born August 2nd, 1933 in Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away Saturday, March 26th, 2016 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Illinois.

Robert was retired from Terminal Railroad and was a life long volunteer at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Bovinett, one granddaughter, Rachel, nee Bovinett, Flannigan; and a great-granddaughter, Natalia Bovinett.

Robert is survived by children; Glenn (Margaret) Bovinett of Sarasota, Florida, Daniel (Charlene) Bovinett of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Cheryl (Ronald) Votava of Collinsville, Illinois, Ronald Bovinett of Collinsville, Illinois, and Debra Wolf of Collinsville, Illinois. He is further survived by five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Bovinett family.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Illinois on Tuesday, March 29th, 2016, there will be an additional visitation Wednesday, March 30th, 2016 at the funeral home one hour before funeral at 11:00 am with the Pastor Gary Kniepkamp officiating. Burial will follow at Keystone Cemetery in St. Jacob, Illinois.
