Robert "Bob" J. Folkerts 66 of Belleville, Illinois passed away on Tuesday January 12, 2016 at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Bob was born on July 9, 1949 to the late Charles and Virginia nee Lauth Folkerts.

For many years Bob was an insurance salesman in the Belleville and E. St. Louis area.

Bob is survived by one daughter Carrie of Collinsville and one brother Ralph (Shirley) of Cumming, Georgia and two sisters Joan (Dale) Speckman of Union, Michigan and Janet (Gary) Lew of Los Angeles, Ca. and three grandchildren.

Visitation: Friends may call at the Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville on Saturday January 16, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Services: Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 16, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with interment following at Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery in Collinsville.
