Robert A. Kemp, 61, of Granite City, Illinois, passed away Monday, October 22 ^nd , 2018.  He was a dog lover, fantasy football fan, and enjoyed watching sports games.

He was born January 28 ^th , 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri to Robert L. and Rosemary (Gertken) Kemp.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Cindy (Kemp) Harrison and Mary (Kemp) Kohler.

He is survived by sisters, Catherine (Tom) Marnin of Arnold, Missouri, Barbara (Leo) Nighohossian of Mitchell, Illinois, and brothers, William (Lisa) Kemp, of Fenton, Missouri, and John (Donna) Kemp, of Chesterfield, Missouri. Also, survived by his brother in-laws, Robert Harrison of St. Louis, Missouri, and Jon Paul Kohler of Sherman, Illinois, and close friend Nora Foster.

Survived by Nieces and Nephews and Great Niece and Nephew.

Robert had worked at Henkel Manufacturing Corporation for 17 years.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 25 ^th , 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, 50 Fountain Drive, Glen Carbon, Illinois, 62034.

Funeral will be Thursday, October 25 ^th , 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, 50 Fountain Drive, Glen Carbon, Illinois.

Memorials may be made in Robert's name to the Granite City APA (Association for the Protection of Animals) or the ALS Association of St. Louis.
