Robert Gene Osburn, 39, of Alhambra, died at 9:39 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at Saint Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

He was born May 13, 1974, in St. Louis, the son of the late Bobby Osburn and Rosemary Emmon Krechel, who survives in Edwardsville.

He is survived by his wife: Shelly Eckart Osburn of Alhambra; one son: Ryan Osburn of Edwardsville; a step-son: Aadyn Russell of Alhambra; a step-daughter: Lauryn Russell of Alhambra; a father-in-law: Bill Eckart of Maryville; a mother-in-law: Marie Eckart of Maryville; one sister: Theresa Osburn of Edwardsville and one niece: Megan Brummet of Edwardsville.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Sunset Hill Funeral Home in Glen Carbon.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Sunset Hill Funeral Home in Glen Carbon with Pastor John Shank officiating.

Interment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery in Glen Carbon.

Memorials are suggested to the charity of donor's choice or to his children's education fund.
