Robert F. Peyla, 62, of Collinsville, Ill., born Jan. 14, 1949, in Collinsville, Ill., died at 6:40 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill.



Mr. Peyla had worked for Jet Aviation as an aviation mechanic.



He was preceded in death by a daughter, Christy Lynn Peyla; a son, Stephen Michael Peyla; and his cousin, Randy Cunningham.



Surviving are his wife, Brenda, nee Dettenmeier, Peyla of Collinsville, Ill., whom he married on Aug. 6, 1993; his parents, Robert and Marie, nee Moretti, Peyla of Collinsville, Ill.; children, Robert Scott Peyla of Collinsville, Ill., Jennifer Marie Schuette of Highland, Ill., and Janis Irene (Jonathon) Van-Durme of Springfield, Ill.; grandchildren, Addie Marie Peyla of Collinsville, Ill., Lara Jean Peyla of Collinsville, Ill., Jennifer Nichole Rowell of Springfield, Ill., and Aiden Michael Peyla Jenkins; two sisters, Patricia (James) Kurowski of Mount Joliet, Tenn., and Susan (William) Rekowski of Collinsville, Ill.; many many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews; and his camping buddies, and you know who you are. He will be sadly missed by his cat, Buddy.
