Robert Dale Rader, of Collinsville, Illinois passed away Saturday July 6th, 2024, at the age of 76. He was born to Kenneth Edward and Marguerite (Stevens) Rader on April 30th, 1948, in Rockford, Illinois.

He married his wife Mary Ann Frame, and they celebrated 52 years of marriage.

Robert was preceded in death by, his father Kenneth, mother Marguerite, and brother Richard.

Those left to cherish his memory are, his two children Brian (Gina Coppotelli), and Scott (Jamie Kusmierczak), sister Suzanne (John Schmieding), brother Steven, sisters-in-law, Beverly Frame Wooldridge, Melissa Rader, and Diane Rader. Grandchildren, Cassie (Kyle Duncan), Madelynn, Maeghann, Logan, Morgan, and Max. Great Grand Children, Cade, Brynn, and Emmy. As well as three nieces and five nephews.

Robert was an avid golfer, he also loved coaching his sons in Khoury League baseball as well as basketball at Holy Cross Lutheran School.

Robert worked at McDonnell Douglas, Boeing, IBM for over 40 years. After retiring, Robert worked at Herr Funeral Home as a door greeter.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 12th, 2024 from 10:00am-1:00pm, with the Service beginning at 1:00pm at Herr Funeral Home.

In Lieu of Flowers, family requests memorials be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Robert's honor.
