Obituary

Robert G. (Bob) Range, 80, of Collinsville, IL, formerly of Cahokia, IL, died Thursday, February 11, 2016 in Maryville, IL.

Bob was a devoted husband, loving father, great-grandfather and brother. Bob was a retired truck driver for Roger''s Cartage, Sauget, IL. He had an amazing record of driving 3 million miles without an accident that he was responsible for. Bob and Pat also owned and operated a Post-Dispatch paper route in MO and IL for 17 years. He was a retired Teamster Local #50, a member of Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Maryville, IL. Bob was a devout Catholic. He and Pat prayed in the Adoration Chapel at MPH for many years.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Art and Mildred, nee Touchette, Range, his mother-in-law and father-in-law; Charles and Elsie, nee Taylor, Morton and an infant niece, Chloe Morton.

Bob is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia (Pat) C. nee Morton, Range, whom he married on October 27th, 1956, his loving daughter, Carolyn G. Enboden, two grandchildren, Christopher L. Enboden and Emily M. (Shawn) Niebruegge, two great-grandchildren, Abigail and August Niebruegge.

He is further survived by his brother Paul Range, sister, Faye (Dale) LaBrier, sister, Pauline and special friend, Kai Anderson, sister, Judy (Everett) Hamilton, brother, Jim (Sharon) Range, brother, Gary (Toni) Range, and one aunt, Evelyn Range.

Bob is also survived by his sisters-in-law, JoAnn Morton, Mary Lee (John) Jansen, Nancy (Tony) Benkowich, Kathy (Mike) Lesniak, Tillie Hurley, Barb (Steve) Farrow brother-in-law, Charlie (Jean) Morton, Jack (Emma) Morton, David Morton, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Bob enjoyed fishing, watching Cardinals baseball, traveling, camping and spending time with his family. In younger years, he enjoyed racing Midget and Sprint cars with his dad and brother Paul.

Memorials may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association, or Community Link, East Bldg, Breese, IL, or Region II Special Olympics.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday, February 14th, 2016 at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, Glen Carbon, IL. An additional Visitation will be Monday, February 15th from 9:00 am to 9:30 am at the funeral home.

Funeral will be Monday, February 15th, 2016 at 10:00 am at Mother of Perpetual Help, Maryville, IL. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Glen Carbon, IL.
