Robert C. "Robbie" Woodside Jr., 55, of Collinsville, Ill., born in June 18, 1956, in East St. Louis, Ill., died at 6:25 p.m. on Friday, May 11, 2012, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Ill.



Mr. Woodside was a member of the Democratic Club, He worked for his father at the Woodside Aamco station beginning at the age of 13, in his later years he owned and operated Woodside Aamco and BP stations for many years.



"Robbie" was preceded in death by his mother, Doris, nee Faulkner, Woodside.



Surviving are his wife, Mary Jo, nee Richter, Woodside of Collinsville, Ill., whom he married on Aug. 2, 1980; sons, Zachary (Amber) Woodside of Collinsville, Ill., and Eric Woodside of Collinsville, Ill.; father, Robert C. Woodside of Caseyville, Ill.; sisters, Deborah Woodside of St. Louis, Mo., and Kathy Jo (Clay) Oulson of Brighton, Ill.; his mother and father-in-law, Robert and Sally Richter of Belleville Ill.; brothers-in-law, Randy (Diane) Richter of Troy Ill., and Dr. Ronald (Denice) Richter of Millistadt, Ill.; nieces, Mandy(Micah) Stephens and Alisa Richter; nephews, Luke Oulson, Justin, Scott and Blake Richter. Also surviving are many dear friends.

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at the funeral home. Interment in Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, Ill.
