Roberta M. Huffine, 86, of Granite City, Ill., born Wednesday, Oct. 12, 1927, in Gallatin, Mo., died at 4:35 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, at Rosewood Care Center in Edwardsville, Ill.
Roberta was a loving homemaker. She was always family oriented and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Huffine, whom she married in June of 1948, and who died in 1992; her parents; and four brothers.
Surviving are her four children, Terry Skaalerud (fiance, Craig Perkins) of Granite City, Ill., Larry Wayne (Sharon) Huffine of Granite City, Ill., Nancy (James) Tague of Granite City, Ill., and Bruce Huffine of Granite City, Ill.; three grandchildren, Timothy Tague, Travis Skaalerud, and Jamie (Charles) Jepsen; four great-grandchildren, Maylee Skaalerud, Tyler Jepsen, Savannah Jepsen and Andrew Tague; and her sister, Jean Wageman of Parowan, Utah.
