Robin Marie Mendez, 67, of Collinsville, Illinois, passed away on November 11, 2021.

Robin was born June 2, 1954, in Ames, Iowa, to Robert Irving and Sheila (Moore) Pomeroy.

She worked for over 30 years as an Assistant Manager of Motor Mart in Collinsville, Illinois, where she met many dear friends and customers.  She was a member of Bunko Club, enjoyed doing puzzles, and reading.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; brothers: Brian Michael Pomeroy, Sean Eric Pomeroy, and her twin brother, Robert Scott Pomeroy; and sister, Maureen Kay Pomeroy.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Mendez of Collinsville, Illinois; sister-in-laws:  Dolores Goodwin of Collinsville, Illinois, and Brenda Mendez of Collinsville, Illinois; as well as her special friends of many years: Peggy Thomas of Springfield, Illinois, and Laurel Sexton of Collinsville, Illinois.

A memorial visitation will be held on December 5, 2021, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Herr Funeral Home, 510 W. Main Street, Collinsville, Illinois. Memorial service will take place at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Ron Habermehl officiating.  Cremation has been accorded by Herr Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
