Roger Edwards, age 59, of Edwardsville, died at 1:55 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at his residence.

He was born Dec. 31, 1955, in Highland, the son of Leroy and Betty Davis Edwards of Medora.

He married Judith Lopez on June 24, 2006. She survives.

Also surviving are three daughters: Tammy Edwards of Palmyra, Tonya Edward of Carlinville and Heather Davenport of Carlinville; two sons: John Perkins of Benld and Josh Perkins of Plainview; a step-daughter Nicole Reid (Wagener) of Maryville; a step-son: Joshua Wagener of Granite City; three brothers: Keith (Kathy) Edwards of Witt, Bruce Edwards of Medora and Rodney (Toni) Edwards of Bethalto; one sister: Deanne Edwards of Medora; two sisters-in-law: Diana (Allen) Lopez of Phoenix, Ariz., and Carolyn Lopez (Carlson) of Annapolis, Md., and four grand-children: Haylee, Hunter and Hanna Houseman and Aiden Reid. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, at Sunset Hill Funeral Home in Glen Carbon.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon.
