Roger W. Gillan of Glen Carbon passed away on September 3, 2019. Roger was born on July 15, 1951, in Highland, IL. Roger retired from Union Local 338, Woodriver, IL. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Blues.

Proceeded in death by his father John Gillan, mother Esther Bonnie (Massey) Waggoner, also proceeded by a brother Joseph Sheppard.

Surviving by his sisters, Joan Capp of California and Pam Gardner of Granite City, IL. His brother's Jeffrey (Kathy) Waggoner of Glen Carbon, IL, Michael Waggoner of Weldon Springs, MO. Also surviving, the love of his life and trusted companion and caretaker for 55 years, Linda. Many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Gathering will be from 10:00 - 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, Glen Carbon, IL.

A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 am, immediately following the gathering at the funeral home, internment will be held at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, Glen Carbon, IL.
