Roger Lee, 72, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Roger was born on September 20, 1950 to parents, Melvin and Patricia (nee Webb) Lee. Roger was a fun-loving man who enjoyed watching Classic and Western movies. He was an avid Cardinals fan and loved spending time at Table Rock Lake. Roger liked grilling and his pork steaks were famous within the family. For over 25 years, he was a hardworking Senior Deckhand on barges and line boats. Most of all, Roger loved spending time with his family. He was a great father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He will be deeply missed.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Patricia Lee; and brother, Roland Lee.

Those left to cherish his memory include his four children, Jodi Whitlow (Scott), Douglas Lee (Lindsay), Jenny Moyer, and John Lee (Laura Deveney); grandchildren, Noah and Myla Whitlow, Kayla and Jackson "Jack" Lee, Tyler Siebuhr, and Gavin Moyer; sisters, Patricia Petrosky (John) and Jane Grimes (Maley); sister-in-law, Linda Lee (the late Roland Lee); and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Services will be held at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, 50 Fountain Drive in Glen Carbon, Illinois on Friday, July 7, 2023.  Family will gather with guests from 11:00am - 2:00pm. There will be a memorial service at 2:00pm, with inurnment in Sunset Hill Memorial Estates immediately following.
