Ronald Dale Pelate, 60, of Caseyville, Ill., born Saturday, Nov. 27, 1954, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away at 4:33 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, 2015.

He was preceded in death by his son, Eric Pelate; and brother, Harry Edward Pelate.

Surviving are his daughter, Melissa Pelate; daughter-in-law, Gwen Pelate; three grandchildren; parents, Harry and Donna Jean, nee Kniser, Pelate; sister, Lauri (Dan) Downes of Bland, Mo.; and three nieces, Kelly Kent of Caseyville, Ill., Kim Summer of Caseyville, Ill., and Amanda Pelate of Edwardsville, Ill.
