Ronald Votava, 66, of Collinsville, Illinois, born on July 27, 1955, passed away on October 5, 2021, at his residence from a long battle of cancer.

Ron was retired from Teamster Local #50. He loved riding his motorcycle and going to his property in Mark Twain forest.

Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Cheryl Nee Bovinett Votava; a daughter, Michelle (Chris) Camillo; son, Chris (Joyce) Votava; 5 lovely granddaughters: Kaylee and Sydney Camillo, Alaina, Alissa,  and Charlotte Votava; and a sister, Juanita (Rich) Winkler.

Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Herr Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 501 W. Main Street, Collinsville, Illinois.  Cremation will follow visitation.
