Ron A. Weiss, 64, of Belleville, Ill., born Nov. 28, 1948, in Belleville, Ill., died at 5:28 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill.

Ron retired from St. Clair Service Co., after many years of service. He was an avid sports fan and loved history. He was a wonderful and loving uncle to Nicholas and Makayla and will be greatly missed by his brother Denny.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Dorothy, nee Meckfessel, Weiss; and a brother, Glenn Weiss.

Surviving are his brother, Denny Weiss of O'Fallon, Ill.; a sister-in-law, Sandra Weiss; nephew, Nicholas; and niece, Makayla.

The family would like to extend a special and loving thanks to his caregivers, Clarice, Florida, Bobbie and Carol.
