Ronnie passed unexpectedly but peacefully in Maspeth, New York on March 7, 2022. She was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. Ronnie worked from the time she graduated high school and retired at the age of 68. She lived with and cared for her mother until her mother's passing in 2009. She loved and was loved by her family and friends throughout the country. Ronnie was a soft spoken, gentle, good natured, thoughtful, and one of the kindest souls to ever walked the earth. She loved her nieces as if they were her own children and adored her seven great nephews and nieces. She always had time to FaceTime with the children no matter how tired she was and no matter how long they wanted to talk.  The last 12 years she rented the upstairs apartment from her best friend Kathy Martin whom she loved very much. Ronnie was a true lover of animals. Her time came too soon and too abruptly, and she will be loved and missed forever.  She will be laid to rest at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Glen Carbon, Illinois and when the time comes, she will spend eternity next to her sister and brother-in-law. She was preceded in death by her father Edward Tallant and her mother Bebe Tallant.  She is survived by her sister, Audrey Tallant (Dennis Watkins), two nieces, Erin Hagerty (Mathew Hagerty) and Ryann Saul (Christopher Saul), seven great nephews and nieces: James, Jack, Luke, and Will Hagerty, and Madison, Lexi, and Parker Saul.
