Rose Marie Averett, 75, of Collinsville, Illinois passed away Tuesday, March 12 ^th , 2019. She was born March 13 ^th , 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri to William and Marie (Martin) Smith. She was married in St. Louis, Missouri to Frank Averett.

Rose is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Smitty and Jim Smith and sister, Pat Iturrian.

She is survived by her husband, Frank, children, Robert (Betty) Averett of Collinsville, Illinois, Cynthia (Gary) Roderique of O'Fallon, Missouri and Kenneth Averett of O'Fallon, Missouri, sister, Virginia King, brother, Joe Smith, nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Rose was a Homemaker and enjoyed spending time with family, helping others, big family dinners, flip flops and blue jeans, traveling, bingo, ceramics, working on cars with her husband Frank, going fishing, music, dancing, Six Flags, and swimming.

Services are private. Rites of cremation have been accorded.
