We are sad to announce the passing of Roseann ("Roe") Tamburello of Collinsville, IL. She departed at age 69 on February 27, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones, following a long illness.

Roseann was the daughter of Gloria Nagel and Joseph Tamburello, also deceased. She is survived by her two children, William (Stacey) and Christopher (Angela) Bevil; grandchildren, Eric and Victoria Bevil; sister, Renilda (Joseph) Bordoni; brothers, Ronald, Michael (Robin) and Leonard (Teresa) Tamburello; and many nieces and nephews.

Roseann's many hobbies included travel near and far, camping in her RV, gardening among flowers and hummingbirds, cooking and baking, and spoiling-rotten her furbaby sidekick, Zoey. She loved big family dinners and gatherings filled with good food, laughter, and card games – pinochle, in-between and canasta being favorites. Late in life, going to the casino was her 'happy place' where she could forget her worries. Every holiday was an excuse to lavish affection and gifts on the children in her life, to decorate to the nines, and open up those catalogues to do some online shopping!

Roseann was loved by many and will be missed terribly. Family and friends who would like to pay your respects are invited to attend a service in her honor at Herr Funeral Home, 501 W. Main Street in Collinsville, IL.  Family will receive guests on Monday, March 6, 2023 from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Family will share words and memories at 1:00pm, and interment will follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, with Father Michael Haag officiating.  A celebration of Roseann's life will be held in the future with details to be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, we invite you to make a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital ( www.stjude.org ) and/or Unity Hospice ( www.unityhospice.com ) in Roseann's honor.
