Ruth E. Storbeck, nee Schwarzstein, 93, of Collinsville, Ill., born Tuesday, March 29, 1921, in Berlin, Germany, died Sunday, January 25, 2015.

She was a retired beauty operator, and a member of the International Women's Club of Collinsville, Ill., and the Holy Cross Lutheran Church. She came to America as a war bride.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Trevor A. Storbeck, whom she married December 21,1947; and her parents, Erich and Erna, nee Schneeman, Schwarzstein.

Surviving are a daughter, Ingrid (Jim) Kistler of St. Louis, Mo.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
