Ruth Ann Szakacsi, 48, of Jamestown, Ill., born Nov. 27, 1964, in Belleville, Ill., died at 9:25 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital in Belleville, Ill.

Ruth was preceded in death by her sister, Dustie Spivey.

Surviving are her children, Ashley Hayes of Belleville, Ill., David Hayes of Jamestown, Ill., and Valerie Goodman of Jamestown, Ill.; significant other, Dale Goodman of Jamestown, Ill.; grandchildren, Alex Hayes and Zane Hayes, both of Belleville, Ill.; brother, Bryan Szakacsi of Collinsville, Ill.; father, Eugene Szakacsi of Collinsville, Ill.; and mother, Sally Szakacsi of Keyesport, Ill.
