CASEYVILLE- Ryan G. Raines, 26, of Caseyville, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.
He was born on September 8, 1990 in St. Louis, MO to Greg and Ann, nee Melling, Raines. He was a 2009 graduate of Collinsville High School. He attended Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, where he studied philosophy. He was currently enrolled in LaunchCode in St. Louis, MO.
Ryan is survived by his parents of Caseyville, IL. He also leaves his grandmother, Normal Melling; girlfriend, Chelsea Woodcock and many close friends, aunts, uncles, cousins and his two beloved dogs.
Ryan loved music and playing guitar. He was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking, and truly cared about all living things. Ryan was a kind, forgiving, generous soul who made the world a better place. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life gathering for Ryan will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville. Cremation rites will be accorded.
