Ms. Sandra Lee Uhles, age 72, of Granite City, Ill., passed away Monday, February 20, 2017 at Belleville Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Il, with her family by her side.

Sandra was born on August 6, 1944 in East St. Louis, Ill. to Thomas Theodore Sr. and Vivian, nee Henderson, Savage.

Surviving are her children, James Marshall Uhles of Caseyville, Kimberly Dawn Uhles of Granite City, and DeAnn Kay Adams of Collinsville; eight grandchildren, Amy Keavery of Collinsville, Heather Brown of Collinsville, Catherine Wilkinson of Caseyville, James Uhles Jr. of Caseyville, Danielle Acup of Swansea, David Scoggins of Collinsville, and Nicholas Aday-Elsah of Illinois, and Robert Lee of Caseyville; nine-great grandchildren; and two sisters, Carol Smith of Collinsville and Doreen Besserman of Granite City.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Debra Savage and Tommy Savage.

VISITATION: A visitation for Sandra will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville.


FUNERAL: A funeral will be held immediately following the service, at 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Reverend Andy Duff will officiate. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery.
