Sara E. Gansner, nee Chambliss, 93, of St. Jacob, Ill., born Jan. 31, 1920, in Hollis, Okla., died at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Liberty Village Nursing Home, Maryville, Ill.
Mrs. Gansner was a member of the Collinsville Church of Christ in Collinsville, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Gansner whom she married on March 28, 1941; parents, Clyde and Bertha, nee McCowan, Chambliss; brother, Fred Chambliss; and sisters, Ruth Clifton and Margaret Wise.
Surviving are three daughters, Carol (Gary) Staley of Maryville, Ill., Kay (Tom) Bridges of Dalton City, Ill., and Debra Sanders of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sons, David (Sally) Gansner of St. Jacob, Ill., and Richard (Bev) Gansner of Festus, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and special friends, Doris Shup and JoAnn Hazzard.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Collinsville Church of Christ, Collinsville, Ill., with Pastor Terry Mabery officiating. Burial will be at Valley View Cemetery in Edwardsville, Ill.
