Scott A. Gold was born on November 19th, 1973, in St. Louis, MO. The Lord called him home on December 29th, 2025.

He lived a life that had both light and struggle, and he faced each in his own way. Despite life's challenges, he was a son, a father, a big brother and a friend. He loved with a big, giving heart and had the ability to make others laugh with his talent for storytelling. His life mattered and his passing leaves a space that cannot be filled.

He is survived by his only daughter, Baileigh; his mom and stepdad, Michele and Brad Bigings; his sisters, Heather Horvath, Sarah (Marion) Black and Mary (Corey) Mahan; his aunt Denise (Deise) Frank; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Gold; his maternal grandparents, Don and Betty Niemeier; and his fraternal grandparents, Everett and Mildred Gold.

There will be a Celebration of Life held on Jan 11, 2026 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at The Caseyville Moose Lodge #4, 8550 New Bunkum Rd, Caseyville, IL, 62232.
