Seaeca V. Ripley, nee Kadiaoff, 91, of Collinsville, Ill., born Monday, Jan. 15, 1923, in Madison, Ill., died at 11:50 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at Cedarhurst Assisted Living in Collinsville, Ill.
Seaeca was a bookkeeper for many years at the Western Auto Store in East St. Louis and was also very active in the PTA there. She volunteered for the March of Dimes and was a girl scout leader and a master gardener.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Ripley, whom she married on Feb. 9, 1946; parents, Kosta Stoyanoff and Stamena, nee Popoyanoff, Kadiaoff; brother, Stayan Stoyanoff; and sister, Mary Napalli.
Surviving are her son, Robert H. Ripley of Collinsville, Ill.; daughter, Tinna (Daniel) Whiteside of Caseyville, Ill.; three grandchildren, Tyler (Jo Lindsay), Jason (Cheri) and Andria (Ryan Steele) Whiteside; and five great-grandchildren.
