Sharon R. Dunahee

Sharon R. Dunahee, 76, of Alton, IL., born February 22, 1942 in Cape Girardeau, MO., passed away July 15, 2018, in Maryville, IL.

Sharon was a caring and dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved baking cakes as a hobby for her family and friends. Sharon was a 1960 graduate from Collinsville High School where she played the bass clarinet.  She will be fondly remembered for winning a service award for being an Unselfish American for taking care of her grandmother which was published in the local newspaper and playing bingo.  She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Collinsville, IL. She retired from Greyhound Bus Lines.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lucille, nee Rigger, Esicar.

She is survived by her children, Sara (Mike) Kleine, Tim (Sherry) Dunahee Sr., Mark (Lori) Dunahee; her brother William (Debbie) Esicar; her nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; her god-daughter Shantel Watts.
