Sharon Louise Theis, 67, of Collinsville, Ill., born Aug. 27, 1948, in Indianapolis, Ind., passed away Friday, Nov. 6, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Hospital surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Michael Carroll, who died Oct. 1, 1991; and her parents, Lowe and Ruby LaFollett Morrow.
Surviving are her husband, Kenneth Theis, whom she married on Oct. 19, 1996, in Granite City, Ill.; two daughters, Kimberly A. (James) Carroll-Fry of Alton, Ill., and Shari J. Bonini of Granite City, Ill.; three sons, Scott M.A. Carroll of Collinsville, Ill., Michael R. (Michelle) Theis of Collinsville, Ill., and Mathew S. Theis of Collinsville, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Stevie (Eileen) Morrow of Indianapolis, Ind., and Melvin (Jody) Buckles of Florida; and her mother-in-law, Sarah Duncan of Atlanta, Ga.
Memorials contributions have been suggested to the African Vision of Hope.
Visitation: Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, 2015, at the Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015, in the Herr Chapel with Rev. Jack Dawson officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in Fairview Heights, Ill.
