Sharon Ruth Organ, 83, of Edwardsville, Illinois, passed away on October 9, 2023. She was born to Sidney and Ellen (Heth) Aubrey on January 15, 1940 in Granite City, Illinois.

After high school, Sharon went on to obtain her Master's Degree and became a High School English teacher. She married Garry Organ on August 27, 1969 in Edwardsville and they enjoyed many happy years together. She was an avid player of Mahjong and cherished time spent with family.

Those left to cherish Sharon's memory are her beloved husband Garry Organ, son Greg Organ and his partner Betsy Westergren, Greg's children who are the grandchildren Haley and Aubrey Organ, sister Kathi Aubrey, sister-in-law Mary Lou Aubrey, cousin Linda Unger and many more family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Jim Aubrey. Sharon will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A Funeral Mass for family and friends will be held at 10:30 am on October 24, 2023 at St.Cecilia Catholic Church, 155 N Main St, Glen Carbon, IL 62034. A private family burial will take place at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 2910 S State Rte 157, Edwardsville, IL 62025
