Sheila Kay Pomeroy, nee Moore, 82, of Collinsville, Ill., born May 14, 1931, in Algona, Iowa, passed away at 3:31 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at Eden Village Care Center in Glen Carbon, Ill.

Sheila was a loving homemaker, she also worked as a phone operator and a meter reader in Quiver River, Mo. Sheila was very active and enjoyed spending time with her friends belonging to the Rockhands, Volksmarching and her Bunko Club. She was also a Girl Scout Troop Leader.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Irving Pomeroy; two sons, Brian Michael Pomeroy and
Sean Eric Pomeroy; and her parents, Oscar Scott and Isabelle "Belle", nee Fraiser, Moore and her favorite aunt, Nell.

Surviving are two daughters, Robin Marie Mendez of Collinsville, Ill., and Maureen Kay Pomeroy of Boonville,
Mo.; son, Robert Scott Pomeroy of Oakdale, Minn.
