Shirley J. Worley, 81, of Collinsville, Ill., born June 16, 1939, in Caseyville, Ill., passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017. Shirley was born in Caseyville, IL.

Shirley retired as head teller from the former Home Federal Savings and Loan in Collinsville, Ill. She was a faithful member of St. John United Church of Christ in Collinsville, Ill.

She is preceded indeath by her parents, George D. and Jean, nee Smith, Geissert; her sister, Helen Homyer and step-mother Josephine Geissert.

Shirley is survived by her husband Lloyd Worley, whom she married in Collinsville, Ill., December 24, 1952; Her brother, George E. Geissert of St. Louis, Mo.; sister, Margaret (Michael) Coon of Belleville, Ill.; her many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to St. John United Church of Christ, Collinsville, Ill., and can be received at the funeral home. Condolences to the family can be expressed through this online guestbook.

Service: Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at Herr Funeral Home with Rev. James Donahue officiating. Interment to follow at the St. John Cemetery in Collinsville, Ill.
