Shirley M. Lotz, 90, of Collinsville, Illinois, passed away on December 20, 2021, at her home.

She was born May 3, 1931, in Collinsville, Illinois, to Melvin and Bernice (Pollard) Mallender.

Shirley was a long time member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Collinsville, Illinois. She loved to spend her time crocheting and doing crossword puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Lotz in 2014.

Surviors include her daughter; Diane Hartmann and husband Dale of Maryville, Illinois; sons:  Richard Lotz and wife Sheryl of Sparks, Nevada, and Robert Lotz and wife Karla of Collinsville, Illinois; grandchildren:  Christie (David) Paddock of Collinsville, Illinois, Richard (Beth) Hartmann of Collinsville, Illinois, Brent (Kristina) Lotz of Chehalis, Washington, Brad (Chelsea) Lotz of Sherrod, Oregon; great-grandchildren:  Reznor Hartmann, Berlin Hartmann, Brennon Paddock, Carson Lotz, and Kennedy Lotz.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Herr Funeral Home, 501 W. Main Street, Collinsville, Illinois. Funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, Illinois.
