Shirley L. Smith, 68, of Collinsville, Illinois, passed away February 12 ^th , 2019. She was born in Eldorado, Illinois on October 16 ^th , 1950 to Luther and Virginia (Phelps) Cox.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Sharon Robinson, one brother, David Cox.

Shirley is survived by children, Norman (Shelly) Smith, Jr., of Collinsville, Illinois, Sindy (Rodney) Street of St. Louis, Missouri, and Amanda (Patrick) Gelso of St. Louis, Missouri. She is further survived by grandchildren, Nathan, Nick and Lindsey Smith, Shyanna, Jaclynn and Alaynna Street and great-grandchildren, Oakleigh Smith and Nate Smith, Jr., and one brother, Danny Cox of Troy, Illinois.

Shirley was a Manager in Food Service for most of her life and for the past five years was a Receptionist at Norm's Automotive.

She loved fishing and the beach, but she loved her family most of all.

Memorial Gathering will be Sunday, February 17 ^th , 2019 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville.

Memorial Service will be Sunday, February 17 ^th , 2019 at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Donor's Choice and may be received at the funeral home.

Rites of Cremation have been accorded.
